Technology and How It Works
HydroPulse is powered by hydro-polarization technology, which emits a precisely tuned electric field through the water-carrying pipe. This field alters the physical behavior of calcium and magnesium ions - key causes of limescale. Scale Formation
Scale forms when hard water, rich in minerals like calcium and magnesium, is heated or pressurized, causing these minerals to crystallize and stick to internal surfaces. Over time, this leads to limescale buildup in pipes, heaters, pumps, and appliances. The result? Reduced water flow, higher energy consumption, frequent equipment failures, and costly maintenance. In industries, it disrupts operations; in agriculture, it clogs irrigation; and in homes, it damages appliances and affects water quality. HydroPulse tackles this problem by emitting a controlled electric field that alters the physical behaviour of these minerals. Biofouling
Biofouling occurs when bacteria, algae, and other microorganisms attach to the internal surfaces of pipes, tanks, and water systems, forming slimy layers that restrict flow and compromise hygiene. In industrial systems, it leads to MIC (Microbial Induced Corrosion) and other quality issues, while in agricultural, residential, and commercial setups, it affects water quality and system cleanliness. Left unchecked, biofouling increases maintenance needs and leads to frequent system disruptions. HydroPulse actively combats biofouling using a specialized electrical signal. As bacteria and algae pass through the system, the signal disrupts their cellular processes, creating internal pressure that damages their structure and leads to their breakdown. It also loosens existing biofilm from pipe surfaces over time by agitating it. The result is a cleaner, low-maintenance system that stays efficient and hygienic without chemicals or biocides.
Corrosion Protection
Corrosion is a major concern in water systems, especially in metal pipelines and industrial equipment, where internal rusting and degradation can lead to leaks, reduced flow, and costly replacements.
